Delteq Pte Ltd has been selected to supply Hewlett-Packard personal computers, accessories and peripherals to the University for one year from 13 June 2005.

CIT works closely with the vendor to ensure the PCs offered are at competitive prices with updated technology relative to similar tenders by IDA and other institutions of higher learning. As part of the tender requirements for technological refresh, the vendor shall conduct regular reviews with CIT and make available to SMU the latest available upgraded technical specifications at the same price.

The awarded PC models have been tested rigorously for stability and compatibility with the campus network and teaching facilities, Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system and the University's applications and software.
